Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is a British-Lebanese Barrister and human rights activist, philanthropist and human rights advocate. When she graduated from Oxford University School of Law she pursued an extensive and successful professional career within human rights as well as international law. Some of her clients are the people of Armenia who is battling the Turkish government to get recognition and apology of the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got married to American actor George Clooney and became a famous name in popular media in the year the year 2014. Years before this though she was well-known and loved in the legal world for consistently representing clients with skill and great success. Her work ranges between social justice and human rights, to representing corporations in the negotiation process or litigating cases involving federal regulations. Barrister is currently her title, a type of lawyer working in British the courts.
